F2B Binah
📌 PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE REACHING OUT WITH QUESTIONS.

This is a detailed post, and we appreciate your time and attention to all the information provided.
Meet Binah, a 4-year-old spayed F2 Savannah female looking for a home where someone can devote their days to keeping her entertained and loved.
🐾 About Binah:
Binah is not a large cat—typical of most Savannahs, she has a long, lean body and legs, but she’s not physically big. What she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in personality. She has an enormous PURRsonality and is truly the sweetest, most energetic “puppy-cat” you’ll ever meet!
She has:
  • The energy of a puppy
  • The manners of a puppy
  • The appetite of a starved puppy!
She’ll greet you by running in circles, shaking her tail like she’s spraying (though she never has), and jumping up on her back legs to headbutt you for attention. (Her name means “Little Dancer” in Swahili—fitting, right?) She’ll also inhale a bowl of food before you can even set it down—hers or not!
⚠️ Important Considerations:
Binah’s high energy and intelligence mean she needs constant stimulation. A cat wheel helps, but she’ll need more than that. Without proper entertainment, she’ll find her own—often by chewing on things like a teething puppy. She doesn’t usually swallow what she chews, but safety precautions are essential. A secure, cat-proofed space is a must when she’s unsupervised.
This behavior should improve once she’s settled and bonded with her new human, but the adjustment period may take time. Be prepared for a long-term commitment.
🐶 Puppy Manners:
Binah gets overstimulated easily and doesn’t always realize how rough her love bites or playful jumps can be. While she rarely breaks skin, she can and has. Because of this, she will not be placed in a home with children under 10, regardless of how well-behaved they are. This is for the safety of both Binah and your children.
🍽️ Puppy Appetite:
She acts like she’s never been fed in her life! Binah is the least picky eater we’ve ever known. She’s been on a mostly raw diet since being weaned off the bottle at 4–5 weeks old but has also eaten canned and dry food. She’s easy to maintain and doesn’t need much food to stay fit—but she will overeat if allowed. If you have other pets, managing her food intake may be a challenge.
🧍 Human Attachment:
Binah was bottle-fed and is extremely bonded to humans. As an early-generation Savannah, she’ll need time to adjust to new surroundings and people, but her love for humans will help her transition faster than most early-generation Savannahs.
🐱 Other Pets:
She does not get along well with other cats. She may tolerate one very non-confrontational cat if introductions are done extremely slowly and you have the time, space, and patience. But there’s no guarantee it will work, so you must have a backup plan.
She has never met dogs, but we suspect she might do okay with a medium or large dog that is calm, respectful, and introduced slowly--after she’s fully settled in.
🧼 Health & Logistics:
  • Impeccable litter box habits
  • Not picky about litter or box type
  • TICA Registered
  • Microchipped
  • Spayed
  • Will be up to date on core vaccines (FVRCP & Rabies) before rehoming
🚗 Rehoming Details:

F2B Tiziri (Tizi)

F2 Tizi is a super high energy, but very sweet, 1.5 year old female who will be looking for a new family to spoil her after 9/4/2023 when she has recovered from her spay. Note she is NOT a big cat, she’s very petite actually, just with loooong legs. She’s a busy body and extremely active, but acclimates well to new locations, people and other animals. She actively seeks out the attention of her kitty companions both to play with, and snuggle with. But she does respect boundaries if the others do not want her attention. She is easy to handle, and has never been aggressive towards people or the other cats. Don’t let that sweet face fool you though, she loves to get into and on top of things and high places. After all she IS an early Generation Savannah, so can still be a bit of a troublemaker at times. She is up to date on her vaccines, and will be spayed before leaving here. (Her original spay date was delayed due to a Granuloma that was found in her mouth, which has now been resolved by diet change.) She was diagnosed with a mild heart condition (non HCM related) that the cardiologist does not expect will impact her life. This deems her not fit for a breeding program, but she should live a long happy pet life.
Tiziri Adoption Details:

F2B Hunter

Adoptable 2.5-year-old F2B Neutered Male Savannah cat located in West Hartford, CT
Rehoming fee of $2,000

**Long post - Please read ALL information before replying**

F2B Hunter is an almost 2.5 year old neutered male Savannah Cat that was born here with us at NitroKatz. His family is devastated, but they have a required move for their job to a state that does not allow any generation of Savannahs so he is looking for a new furrever family where he is legal!! Hunter is a very affectionate and playful boy who currently lives in West Hartford, Connecticut. He is microchipped, has all of his claws and is up to date at the vet. He is good with meeting new people and enjoys going for meandering strolls in the yard on his leash. He has shared his whole life with 2 young boys that he adores, but he has not lived with other pets since he left here as a kitten. We feel he should be fine with them though as he was raised here with many other kittens. He has casually met a dog a couple of times and was cautiously curious, but they did not really have a chance to get close. He would likely do fine with other pets as long as he had a proper slow introduction after an initial quarantine period to acclimate to his new home first.

On occasion he has urinated on some of the kids toys. His pawrents feel this may have been due to jealousy from the kids getting more attention, and also the family being out of the house more than they had during the last Two years. Diligence in cleaning with an appropriate enzyme cleaner, as well as focusing more attention on Hunter has solved that issue.

We will NOT ship Hunter, he must be picked up at his current home in West Hartford, Connecticut. There will be a rehoming fee of $2,000.

If you are interested in being Hunter’s new furrever family and can pick him up in West Hartford, Connecticut please inquire at NitroKatzSavannahs@gmail.com and tell us about the home you can provide Hunter, and why you feel it is the best fit for him.

F4SBT P.B.

Adoptable 8-year-old F4 SBT Spayed Savannah Female located in Lebanon, CT
Rehoming fee of $150

**Long post - Please read ALL information before replying**

F4 SBT P.B. is about 8 years old, but doesn’t act old at all. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has all her claws. She won’t use them on humans, but wouldn’t think twice about using them on another cat so she really needs to be in an only cat home. She LOVES to play, and is a BIG talker. She is also VERY affectionate, and loves to purr on you while she’s on your lap (and will clean your head if you let her!). In her mind you can never give her enough petting and attention (she’s not too crazy about being picked up and held in your arms though, she gets really squirmy). She hasn’t been really happy here since her best buddy passed away last summer and she is being a huge bully to other cats, including ones she grew up with and always got along with. She is also bullying others about food so she was overeating and had gained a LOT of weight. She’d also throw up a lot as she’d gorge herself so other cats didn’t get the food first. She’s been to the vet and had a full work up including blood and urine, and is as healthy as a horse - she was just VERY overweight. We’ve had her separated and she is doing much better that way, but it is hard on her and us to keep that up and give her enough attention. And she really wants a human that can satisfy her huge play drive and give her more activity to lose the rest of the extra weight now that we've been able to control exactly how much she eats.

She has never met dogs, but she should do fine with dogs as long as they respected her boundaries, and she had places to get away like taller cat trees or wall shelves. She would do fine with older children that also respect boundaries. Her litter box habits are impeccable, and she isn’t picky on what type of litter/litter box she uses or food she eats. But the amount of food needs to be monitored, she can’t be free fed.

She is located in eastern Connecticut and would need to be picked up, NO SHIPPING! Her rehoming fee is $150. If you are interested in opening your heart and home to this loving girl, please email us at NitroKatzSavannahs@gmail.com and tell us your location and a little bit about the home you can provide. Please make sure she is legal where you live at HybridLaw.com.

F5C Rayna

Adoptable 3-year-old F5 Spayed Savannah Female located in Cookstown, NJ
Rehoming fee of $150 as a donation to Savannah Cat Rescue.

**Long post - Please read ALL information before replying**

Hello, my name is “Nakitang Malaking Rayna,” or “Rayna” for short. In Tagalog, my name roughly translates to “spotted large queen” (note - it’s my purrsonality that is large!). I am looking for an experienced, quiet forever home due to some behavioral issues I am having. With the right family, I can provide you lots of love and companionship.
I was born with Ataxia, but only have some minor residual symptoms. The vet believes that I might have only partial hearing in one ear, and I can be a little uncoordinated when jumping onto really high surfaces. Sometimes I walk a little funny too as my legs slightly kick out to the sides, but it’s adorable to watch and causes me no pain. I have started peeing outside of the litter box, which is the reason I need an experienced family to help retrain me. I am very sweet, love to be petted, and prefer to not be picked up but do like to curl up next to you or in a lap if I so choose to. I hate getting my nails trimmed, and dislike when the vet gives me shots. I love to talk loudly, especially when I am lonely or hungry. I am friendly with other cats and dogs, as long as they leave me alone and let me investigate them—I would do best with only one other calm older cat, but a calm dog would be considered. I am friendly with children, but I get stressed out with their high activity levels, so would prefer a quieter home with older children or adults. The vet says I am perfectly healthy and have no health concerns. I’m microchipped, up to date on my shots and will come with a full medical record.

I cannot be shipped, so please don’t ask, but my family can drive up to an hour from Cookstown, NJ to meet you. They will provide my favorite blanket, my cat tree, my cat carrier, my litter box, some cat food and cat litter. My breeder is helping coordinate my transfer to my forever home, and I hope you are the one!

Owner's Note~
Rayna has demonstrated urination issues for approximately 8 months. One of our other cats also had urination issues for over 10 years, and we fear that she learned the habit from the other cat. There is a possibility that Rayna has been urinating outside the litter box for longer than 8 months, but that is unknown since we were only focused on our older cat at the time. After discovering the urination problem, we started by having our vet check Rayna for any urinary issues--crystals, infections, etc. There were no issues at the time. She started by peeing on all our couches, eventually saturating two so badly that cleaning was ineffective, and they had to be thrown out. At this point, we eliminated her access to all furniture, using air cans during the day, and quarantining her at night to a room with a litter box. At this point, she started finding other areas to urinate, and began spraying walls as well. Through coordination with our breeder, we started using other methods to try and alleviate any stress that might be causing her issues. We used feliway diffusers, sprays and calming collars, and we used strong enzyme cleaners like Anti Icky Poo to treat the urine spots to try stopping her from returning to the same place. We would put large items over urine spots to eliminate her access. We started using Dr Elseys Cat Attract litter, and removing all foods that contained fish. One time, she decided to spray the wall inches from our infant's face, one of many signs that she is not happy in the company of small children. We took Rayna to another vet for a second opinion, and had her checked again for urine pH, urine crystals, and UTI, but she came back with another clean bill of health. Currently, we have been quarantining her at all times, except for meal time and small full-supervised socialization breaks--this has been the only thing that has stopped her from peeing or spraying outside her litter box at a daily rate--however, this cannot be how she continues, because she is a very social cat and needs human interaction. She really needs a quiet home, with no small children (over 12 or so would be ideal), one other calm cat, no excitable dogs and experienced owners capable of spending their time and resources to help her break this habit.

If you are interested in being considered for Rayna’s new home, please email us at NitroKatzSavannahs@gmail.com. Include a description of your home (including your location and all occupants), why you think your home is the right fit, and how you would plan to deal with inappropriate urination/spraying if it continues.

F2B Nuru (Adopted!!!!!!)

F2 Nuru is an almost two year-old Silver Spotted female.  We imported her for our breeding program, but that did not work out as we'd hoped. She is very petite (weighs about 8 lbs now) but proportionate, and is ALL early generation Savannah with her long legs and body with short thick tail. She absolutely LOVES to play, and once she gets to know you she also loves petting and cuddles. But like most early generation Savannahs, she does NOT always like to be picked up or really restrained in any way. She is a shy, quiet girl, and will likely take some time to acclimate to a new family. The more you have going on in your home, the longer it will take her to acclimate. (More people, more pets, more activity, etc)  This does NOT mean she can't be around other pets or children...it simply means there is more for her to adjust to so will  probably take a little longer for her to be comfortable.
Adoption Details:
  • Due to her age she is priced lower than an F3 Kitten at $2,500. So if you have always wanted an F2 Savannah but the price was just out of range then this is a great opportunity!!
  • We will only place Nuru in the US, NO flights for her, she must be picked up here and live within 8-10 hours or so driving distance of Lebanon, CT. (If you aren't QUITE within that distance but are a purrfect fit for her please reach out to us so we can discuss your home!)
  • Before contacting us please check your legality here: https://www.hybridlaw.com/ (Hint - this means she is NOT legal in MA, NH, VT, ME, RI, NY)
  • If you are interested in being Nuru’s furrever home please send us an email with your location and a description of the home you can provide her to NitroKatzSavannahs@gmail.com
  • Nuru is TICA Registered, Microchipped, Spayed and is up to date on her Rabies and FVRCP vaccines for 3 years.
  • She will go home with her 5 Foot Cat Tree, enough of her favorite raw food for about 3 months, a Whole SCHOOL of her ABSOLUTE favorite catnip fish toys (that is what she is playing with in the second video), Litter Box, Travel Carrier and Blanket that smells familiar.

Savannah cats are like potato chips....................you can't stop at one!! Or two......Or.......
